A child of Tumblr and Fanfiction, it’s no surprise writing turned out to be what I chose to do with my life. Three years in a Communications degree laid the basis for me to get started and then off I went into a busy journey in journalism.

I’ve always known culture would be my thing - as a kid I embarked on a mission to watch all the movies, especially horror films, which always got my mom mad at me -, but quickly realized I also love a lot of other subjects. I discovered a passion for online behavior and sexuality, having created a sex column, Eros, at GQ Portugal. My work has also been featured in Dazed, Vogue Portugal and CAP 74024, to name a few publications, as well as throughout Portuguese media.

My cat, Nivea, is always on my mind (and this website has the honor to have her picture as its icon), along with the first 6 seasons of Game of Thrones and “Pattern”, by The Last Shadow Puppets. This is what you get when you have a Gen Z’er product of Brazilian, Italian and Portuguese genetics.
